This document is G.O.(Ms) No. 126, issued by the School Education (SE3(1)) Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu on May 21, 2025 (p. 1).

Purpose of the Order

This G.O. issues amendments to the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu School Educational Subordinate Service (pp. 1-2). It changes how specific vacancies for Graduate Teachers are filled, moving away from "recruitment by transfer" in favor of direct recruitment for certain quotas (p. 1).

Key Changes & Quotas

The order establishes specific ratios and reservations for the recruitment of Graduate Teachers (Subjects, Tamil, English, and other languages) (pp. 2-4):

• Ministerial Service Quota:2% of vacancies earmarked for direct recruitment are now reserved for qualified members of the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service within the School Education Department (e.g., Assistants, Typists, Junior Assistants) (pp. 2-3).
• Secondary Grade Teacher Quota: The vacancy reservation for Secondary Grade Teachers and other teachers at that pay level (like Art or Music masters) for direct recruitment has been adjusted to 8% (previously 10%) (pp. 1-2).
• General Recruitment Ratios:
  • For Subjects and English, the ratio between direct recruitment and promotion is 50%:50% (pp. 2-3).
  • For Tamil and other Languages, the ratio is 33⅓% : 66⅔% (pp. 3-4).

Implementation

If these reserved 8% and 2% quotas cannot be filled by the specified internal staff, the vacancies will be filled by candidates from the open market (pp. 2-4).

இந்த ஆணை, தமிழ்நாடு பள்ளி கல்வித் துறையால் மே 21, 2025 அன்று வெளியிடப்பட்டது. இது பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியர் (Graduate Teacher) பணியிடங்களுக்கான தகுதி மற்றும் பணி நியமன முறைகளில் மாற்றங்களைக் கொண்டுவருகிறது.

• அமைச்சுப் பணி பணியாளர்களுக்கு 2%: பள்ளி கல்வித்துறையில் பணியாற்றும் தகுதியுள்ள அமைச்சுப் பணி பணியாளர்களுக்கு (உதவியாளர்கள், இளநிலை உதவியாளர்கள், தட்டச்சர்கள்) 2% இட ஒதுக்கீடு நேரடி நியமனத்தின் கீழ் வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
• இடைநிலை ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு 8%: இடைநிலை ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் அதே ஊதிய நிலையில் உள்ள பிற ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு (கலை, இசை, உடற்கல்வி ஆசிரியர்கள்) பட்டதாரி ஆசிரியராக நேரடி நியமனம் பெறுவதற்கான ஒதுக்கீடு 10%-லிருந்து 8%-ஆகக் குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• பணி நியமன விகிதம்:
  • பாடப்பிரிவு ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் ஆங்கில ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு: 50% நேரடி நியமனம் : 50% பதவி உயர்வு.
  • தமிழ் மற்றும் இதர மொழி ஆசிரியர்களுக்கு: 33⅓% நேரடி நியமனம் : 66⅔% பதவி உயர்வு.
